FlashMax P3 1 Second Dental Curing Light Updated

Dr. Mike Milligan: Hi I’m Dr. Mike Milligan and I am here with Cliff Magnesson National Dental. Cliff thank so much for being with us. This is an update on the 1 second curing light and it’s even better now. It’s brand-new it just came out this week.

Cliff Magnesson: it was just released this week officially in Germany at the big IDS show there happens every two years.

The FlashMax Saves Time Per Dental Patient

Dr. Mike Milligan: This is what it was, the one-second curing light. I got two of them about a year ago. I absolutely love them. Not only does a cure a lot faster and save a lot of time during the day, but also for a youngster you’re not in there with that light for very long. You can get in and you can get out. You are not worried about saliva contamination. It is cured in a second. A one second cure will cure 2 to 3 millimeters deep depending on the shade and 3 second cure will go 8 to 10 millimeters deep depending on shade. It is the highest output of any light out there according to CRA. Am I correct?

CRA Evaluated FlashMax as Highest Output of Any Dental Curing Light

Cliff Magnesson: CRA just finished evaluation of many of the different high-speed curing lights on the market and this was the highest output of any light they tested. Not only are you getting enough output to know that you have a full cure on the product but you’re doing it much more efficiently so time and also the confidence to know that you have a full cure. Typically the average dentist will use one second per layer and then use the 3-second button for the finishing layer. Dr. Mike Milligan: I have loved it over the last year and had no problems with sensitivity because it is so quick that you’re not putting any more heat into the tooth. The new one is even much smaller, it’s lighter, the tip is very small so access is just fantastic. Now show us the different grips here.”
